He began his career in private equity which led to his first real estate project. In 2013 he founded Bernier Real Estate Group with the goal of developing ground-up real estate projects. Brian has served in a variety of roles, including GP, Co-GP, Sponsor, Principal, and Capital Markets Advisor. As he expanded his capital partner network for his own projects, his equity partners began to seek his assistance with other transactions. This led to Brian partnering with outside Sponsors in need of equity for their own acquisitions and developments. As our Sponsor relationships grew, so did our network of Equity Capital Partners. Bernier Real Estate Group now mainly focuses on equity capital placement, real estate investment banking, and capital markets advisory for Real Estate Sponsors. Brian has placed $470M of capital since 2019. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Pennsylvania State University.
